Vacancy: Senior Sister / Charge Nurse - In-Patient Unit Salary: Band 7 equivalent 46589 - 53177 per annum Hours: 37.5 per week We are recruiting to the post of Senior Sister / Charge Nurse within our In-Patient Unit. We are looking for someone who is able to support and lead a team of staff to provide high quality evidence-based care. We are looking for someone with The drive and energy to manage an in-patient ward within a specialist setting. Excellent communication skills who will proactively model the St Gemmas values and behaviour framework. Strong leadership skills and an outstanding track record for service improvement. Enthusiasm to maintain a positive and innovative working environment. As a Senior Sister / Charge Nurse you will be expected to Effectively manage the running of the ward including quality safety and budgeting. Lead on the management of the staff including attendance and performance management appraisal support / pastoral care and roster. Provide and participate in Clinical Supervision. Be an enthusiastic and supportive role model implementing evidence based practice. Work as part of the Hospice team maintaining our CQC Outstanding rating.
