Job Summary An exciting opportunity has risen to join the Resilience team at Central London Community Health NHS Trust. We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated fire safety professional to join our Resilience team as a Fire Safety Adviser. You will play a key role in delivering fire safety support across the Trust, including training, inspections, and carrying out Fire Risk Assessments. Working closely with the Head of Fire, Health & Safety and Security, you will help ensure our compliance with the Fire Safety Order 2005 and NHS HTM guidance. Main Responsibilities Deliver statutory and role‑specific fire safety training, including Fire Marshal training and local drills. Carry out Fire Risk Assessments and maintain accurate action plans. Conduct inspections and audits to monitor compliance with Trust policy and HTM guidance. Support fire incident investigations to ensure lessons learned are shared. Provide practical fire safety advice to staff and managers across the Trust. At least 2 years of experience in a fire safety advisory/support role. Strong project management skills (e.g., PRINCE 2) desirable. Skills and Knowledge Demonstrable attention to detail. Advanced IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications. Well‑developed organisational skills. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of Information Governance and requirements in a health organisation (desirable). Additional Requirements Ability to meet the fundamental aspects of the role. Can work flexibly within the needs of the team and organisation. Willingness to travel across London. Must commit to Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
