Stakeholder Engagement Lead – Ofwat Apply to join Ofwat’s Communication and Engagement team. We have one permanent role, open to loans or secondments up to 2 years. Location London (E14 4HD) or Birmingham (B5 4UA) – hybrid working*. About Ofwat Ofwat is the Water Services Regulation Authority, a non‑ministerial government department responsible for regulating the water sector in England and Wales. The Role As a Stakeholder Engagement Lead you will develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans for key programmes, manage strategic relationships with key audience groups, use stakeholder insight to advise senior leaders, and support the implementation of a relationship management process across the organisation. Key Deliverables Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement plans ensuring stakeholder views inform policy making. Advise senior leaders on engagement with stakeholders for meetings, speaking engagements, and visits. Build effective relationships to support senior leadership’s strategic engagement. Embed best practice engagement and co‑production to consistently high standards. Produce high quality written communications – correspondence, briefing materials and presentations. Support the implementation of a relationship ownership structure across Ofwat. Deliver a comprehensive stakeholder insight management process to inform future engagement and policy development. Monitor and track stakeholder sentiment, lead research and evaluation to improve engagement. Support the broader Communications and Engagement function as required. About You Strong experience designing and delivering strategic stakeholder engagement plans, including objective setting, strategy design and evaluation. Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and ability to write clearly for diverse audiences. Collaborative approach working across teams and levels.
