If you join Public Sector Audit, you will be part of a brilliant team that provides distinctive audit and advisory services, and works with:Central government bodiesLocal government bodies including Councils, police and fire bodiesNHS Trusts and Integrated Commissioning BoardsAbout the roleAs a school leaver trainee, you'll embark on a four-year training contract, during which you'll:Master the art of auditing: Learn to prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies, including financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.Work side by side with clients: Be immersed into the business world by working directly with a variety of diverse companies, and develop meaningful connections.Build relationships: Connect with key stakeholders both with our clients but also internally in your team and across service lines, and gather relevant information to build strong professional relationships.As you progress, you'll take on increasingly complex audit work and take ownership of audit engagements by taking a leading role in their delivery. You'll also mentor new and more junior team members, helping them to settle in and flourish.Who we're looking forWe're looking for someone with:On track or have obtained A-level, BTEC or equivalent qualifications.
