Senior Sales Representative – South East

Location: South East (Hybrid – 3 days on the road, 2 from home looking after 15 trusts around Peterborough, Cambridge, Essex, Kettering, Northampton and Kent areas)

Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 + up to 10k bonus

Benefits: Hybrid company car (no car allowance)

Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Representative to drive growth across the South East region for our market leader in the Medical sector. This is a well-established territory with excellent existing accounts and strong potential for new business development.

This role is ideal for a motivated, fast-paced sales professional who thrives on building relationships, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving sales in a competitive environment. While NHS experience is desirable, applications are welcomed from candidates with transferable skills from other sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and manage direct sales activities within healthcare settings, including NHS procurement, capital, clinical, and ward environments.

Develop existing accounts and proactively identify and secure new business opportunities.

Manage regional territory plan with the National Sales Manager to achieve sales targets.

Network with key decision-makers to promote products and brand awareness.

Dynamically manage revenue and capital pipelines using CRM, ensuring accurate and timely updates.

Conduct product demonstrations and provide customer training when required.

Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional, efficient manner.

Gather and report customer feedback, competitor activity, and market insights.

Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities via CRM and internal systems.

Support regional forecasting with proactive pipeline management.

Represent the business at exhibitions, sales meetings, and events.

Ensure compliance with company processes, health & safety policies, and procedures.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a results-driven sales professional who thrives in a busy, customer-facing environment.

Essential qualities:

Proven track record in sales (healthcare or related sectors desirable, but not essential).

Strong territory management skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and execute effectively.

High energy, adaptable, and able to manage multiple meetings, calls, and emails daily.

Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.

Comfortable with frequent travel across the region (approx. 3 days per week).

Strong IT skills (CRM, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable experience:

Knowledge of NHS procurement processes and healthcare sales.

Experience in capital equipment or medical device sales.

Hunter: Proactive, driven, and skilled at acquiring new business.

Transactional Seller: Efficient at managing multiple accounts, fast-paced, and focused on results.
