Tools Programmer

IO Interactive is looking for a skilled Tools Programmer to join our Backbone team and help power the tech behind our games. You’ll be working across multiple flagship projects - our James Bond game, 007 First Light, our ambitious Project Fantasy, and the HITMAN universe - building and evolving tools in our proprietary Glacier engine. Together with artists, designers, and programmers, you’ll create robust, user-friendly workflows that let our teams move faster, experiment more, and bring world‑class gameplay to life. What You Will Do Collaborate to design and upgrade the Glacier editor and tools, empowering content creators. Engage with users to understand production requirements and streamline workflows. Customize and integrate tools to meet project needs. Create user-friendly interfaces for efficient usage. Integrate tools with version control systems. Stay updated on the latest technologies. Ensure high quality through testing and security measures. Continuously improve tools based on feedback and project demands. Who You Are Have experience working in the gaming industry. Proficient in C# and C++ with strong code design skills. Familiarity with WPF or similar UI technologies preferred. Capable of task breakdown, estimation, and participating in task assessments. Strong collaboration and communication skills, adept at discerning user needs. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required. Master's degree preferred.
