Provide an efficient and 'First in Class' delivery service to our customers. Drive safely, obeying the rules of the road To always adhere to Health & Safety Policies and procedures. To contribute effectively in our team environment. Complete a daily vehicle and equipment pre-trip and post trip check using our Defect reporting processes and systems. Ensure all customer delivery details are captured accurately via use of the PDA system. Ideally you will have: A great customer focus with a flexible and adaptable approach to deliver outstanding results A fully adaptable approach to work The ability to use your own initiative to ensure the customer receives their goods in a safe and timely manner Category C1 licence (no more than 3 points) Experience of working in a multi-drop environment. Skills / qualifications Valid C1 licence (7.5T) Valid Tachograph & CPC No more than 6 Points or Major Offences Minimum of 12 months Class 2 driving experience Ability to lift and handle heavy items safely Flexible schedule to accommodate varying delivery demands Commitment to safety and compliance with company policies and procedures Why work with Driver Hire Driver Hire Northampton and Kettering is part of Driver Hire Nationwide, the UK's largest specialist transport and logistics recruiter.
