Job Description Our HR team are looking to hire a strong Administrator who is passionate about people and eager to kickstart their career in Human Resources. We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a HR Apprentice on an 18-month fixed term contract. This new position will be working at one of our Sika sites (Leeds, Preston, Welwyn Garden City or Redditch), Monday to Friday, four days on site, and one day working from home. As part of the Apprenticeship you will attain a Level 3 or Level 5 CIPD Qualification funded by Sika. Working alongside other HR Apprentices and HR Coordinators as part of an effective HR Shared Service – referred to as the HR Hub Team. This is your chance to gain hands‑on experience, develop essential HR skills, and work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment. If you’re ready to learn, grow, and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you Requirements Professional, self‑motivated, and confident outlook Strong Administration skills An understanding of excellence in customer experience Excellent time management skills Willingness to learn new systems Previous experience handling data and generating reports in excel format Motivated to deliver great results and taking accountability Ability to communicate professionally towards internal and external stakeholders Motivated by supporting business critical activities whilst taking the opportunity to get involved in tactical/strategic projects Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong numerical skills Qualifications Ideally 3 A Levels (A‑C) A HR or Business related qualification is desirable A minimum of Level 5/B in GCSE or equivalent – Maths & English The right to work and reside in the UK Additional Information Location: Commutable distance to one of Sika sites – Leeds, Preston, Redditch or Welwyn Garden City Hybrid role (1 day per week home working) 18‑month apprenticeship in the first instance with potential to join Sika permanently in future 37.5 hours per week Opportunity You will provide support to People‑Managers and HR Business Partners and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will gain experience and opportunities to support HR delivery through contribution in this role and connect with a dynamic and friendly team of HR professionals and People managers. Skills You will attain a Level 3 or Level 5 CIPD qualification as an integral part of your Apprenticeship.
