The Software Development team is responsible for building out the next generation of highly scalable, reusable and performant distributed services and applications for Caxton users. You will evaluate and use the latest .Net and open‑source technologies to deliver, maintain and enhance new and existing applications.As a member of the software development team, you will be expected to:Work on multiple concurrent projects and prioritiesWork closely with end‑users and other team members to gather use cases and translate them into functional components and applicationsStrike the correct balance between performance, scalability, maintainability and go‑to market time when designing a solutionDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, unit tested and reliable codeDemonstrate excellent problem solving and teamwork skillsExperience:Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related fieldAt least 2 years of software development experience using C# and .NETGood knowledge of C# .Net and object‑oriented programming conceptsAbility to think critically and develop innovative solutionsExperience with Visual Studio and NuGet packagesExperience of Test‑driven development, Unit testing, CI/CDExperience with version control systems (e.g. Git)Experience of writing reusable libraries and windows servicesSome SQL database experience (e.g. MS SQL, MySql, Oracle)Experience and understanding of relational database schemasEffective communicator, able to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clientsOperates with the highest degree of ethics and integrityThe following would be highly beneficial:Knowledge of financial products and market dataBasic knowledge of TCP/IP and networksContainerisation experience (Docker) #J-18808-Ljbffr
