Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Financial Accountant (Reporting) Permanent / Hybrid | London / Leeds The Opportunity We are looking for a part-qualified accountant with a passion for making data meaningful to join our Reporting Centre of Excellence team. This internal promotion offers a chance to work across the finance function and understand our EO divisional numbers. Your new role You will dive into corporate reporting, ensuring financial data is sharp and consistent, working with internal and external stakeholders to keep things running smoothly. Expect hands‑on work with reporting and analytics tools and continuous improvement contributions. Main responsibilities Producing reports and working with data to deliver accurate financial results Spotting ways to improve how we work via automation, smarter processes, better controls Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues in our offshore shared services centre Building strong relationships with stakeholders to keep service levels high Running checks to make sure our data is solid and reliable Making adjustments and entries in our systems to support group reporting Jumping in on ad‑hoc analysis and reporting requests About You Part‑qualified/newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar) or solid experience in a finance role Experience in financial services (other industries welcome) Continuous improvement mindset and a love for better ways to do things Sharp eye for detail and care about quality and control Digitally curious and excited by data analytics and reporting Experience with Oracle, HFM, Hyperion, Wdesk or Alteryx (or keen to learn) Benefits 30 days holiday a year with the option to buy up to 2 additional days Flexible working opportunities (part‑time, job share, compressed hours) Pension plan with 10% employer contribution Private medical insurance for you and your family Family friendly leave policy (26 weeks leave at full pay for all parents) Remote work abroad up to 20 days per year Sustainable investing focus and net‑zero goal support Cycle‑to‑Work benefit (up to £5,000 for bike and accessories) Equal Employment Opportunity QBE is an equal opportunity employer and complies with equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction it operates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
