About The RoleCare Home Administrator position in our care home is a key support role to ensure the home runs smoothly with a person-centred environment, assisting the General Manager in all aspects of the Home’s administration.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPresent a professional and caring first contact for all those who visit or telephone the Care HomeManage a reception desk in a warm and friendly mannerAnswering telephone / emails and dealing with queriesProcessing post and mailSupport the General Manager with administrative and secretarial duties, including updating spreadsheets and preparation of documentsMaintain the organisation’s system with confidential informationProvide the General Manager with assistance submitting information to Regional Office within required deadlinesScanning, filing and archivingMinute and note taking when requiredAttend and participate in the home’s staff meetingsAll posts offered are subject to two satisfactory references and a enhanced DBS or PVG disclosure.About YouAs a Care Home Administrator, you will be professional, caring and enthusiastic and will be managing administrative systems and processes to support the General Manager in running the home effectively.We are looking for someone who is well-organised, has strong IT skills, good attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills and good telephone manner with good customer service orientation. You will have a flexible approach and have the ability to prioritise tasks.Working towards an administration qualification at the equivalent of S / NVQ level 2 or higher is essential.Working for UsWe’ll provide full training, so it’s a great opportunity to learn something new.
