About The Role As a locum SPR in General Anaesthetics, you'll provide high‑quality care and support across anaesthetics (general) services. Royal Lancaster Infirmary – cover on‑calls, long days, nights, 1 in 8 rota for Theatre/Obstetrics/ITU, plus Theatre sessions. Responsibilities Deliver safe and effective clinical care. Support multidisciplinary teams and junior staff. Participate in audits and service development. Essential Qualifications MBBS or equivalent medical degree. Full GMC registration with licence to practise. Relevant postgraduate training or experience in the specialty. Current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or Protection and Vetting Group (PVG) check – or willingness to undergo one. UK Right to Work. Strong communication and teamworking skills. Desirable Qualifications Specialty training at ST3+ level or equivalent.
