For reference, a prior mention of Fork Lift Driver in benefits has been removed to maintain accuracy.Role PurposeThe purpose of the role is to manage the construction site according to company guidelines and goals, ensuring all aspects of the project conform to proposed budgets, timelines, construction and quality standards.What You'll Do As a Project ManagerManage a construction site to ensure the development is completed on time, to specification and safety regulations, while complying with company and construction build and quality standards.Manage, report and cost-control the logistics and resources associated with developments, working to regulatory and quality standards and implementing cost-saving solutions to meet budgetary targets.Direct and supervise the activity of the workforce, including all subcontractors, to ensure works are completed on time, to the desired quality standards and within budget.Ensure all quality and safety inspections are within quality control standards and carried out in accordance with Group guidelines.Ensure materials are called off in a timely manner and checked and stored accordingly in accordance with Group guidelines.Work cohesively with other departments across the Operating Company such as Sales and Customer Care to ensure achievement of targets and timely updates relating to plot progress.Ensure compliance of the site workforce and all visitors with the Group Health, Safety and Environment Policy to minimise incidents and accidents.Experience and QualificationsExperience within the house building industry is essentialThorough understanding of the NHBC standardsUnderstanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislationPrevious experience managing a construction development siteA good understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Current CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) is preferredFull UK Driving Licence is requiredNVQ Level 7 in Construction Management is preferredRecognition through industry awards such as the NHBC Pride in the Job is highly advantageousAdditional InformationBenefits include:Competitive salaryCompany Car or Car AllowanceLife Cover & Contributory PensionEmployee Benefits Platform with access to high-street discounts, wellbeing support, and moreEOE statement: Persimmon Homes is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
