Red Hat SME Engineer We are seeking two highly experienced Red Hat SMEs to join a secure environment in South West England. This role requires active eDV clearance and deep hands‑on expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, open‑source technologies, automation, and CI/CD frameworks. You will support large‑scale enterprise systems, contribute to automation and optimization initiatives, and provide expert‑level guidance across Red Hat systems and related open‑source toolsets. Key Responsibilities Lead and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments across a secure on‑site location. Architect, configure, and optimize Red Hat‑based infrastructure. Work with open‑source technologies and DevOps toolchains. Build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in secure environments. Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve system performance and reliability. Collaborate with engineering, security, and automation teams. Produce technical documentation, best practices, and configuration standards. Ensure governance, compliance, and alignment with security policies. Provide SME‑level support for new deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
