Contini Restaurants is looking for a Senior Head Chef to oversee and elevate the culinary standards across our diverse restaurant and event venues 44 hours worked over 5 days Up to £45K per annum Tips through a Tronc scheme equating to an additional £2-£5 per hour You will be reporting directly to the General Manager Key Responsibilities As the Senior Head Chef, you will be crucial in driving our culinary excellence, team development, and financial performance. Menu & Vision: Work with the Directors and Senior Operations Managers to develop monthly menus and collaborate on seasonal menu changes, ensuring the food presentation aligns with each venue's vision and current trends. Financial Oversight: Oversee and manage GP targets, wage budgets, and kitchen-related financial KPIs across all sites. This includes tracking and updating costings for all menu dishes. Leadership & Development: Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight to Head Chefs and Kitchen Managers. You will also manage the entire Kitchen team, supporting recruitment, identifying training needs, and developing cross‑training programs. Compliance & Hygiene: Oversee Health and Safety compliance in all venues. This involves maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene, preparing for spot checks, and liaising with Environmental Health Officers when necessary. You must ensure all compliance requirements, including Food Allergens and Daily Report procedures, are followed. Operations & Service: Support service across all venues, including learning and being able to step into different service styles at short notice as the business needs.
