We partner with leading institutions such as OBU to deliver accredited programmes.The Role: Lecturer in Accounting & Finance within the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. The role requires flexible teaching across weekdays, evenings and weekends.What You'll Be Doing: Develop and deliver high-quality course materials, assess and support undergraduate students, and stay current with developments in the field.ResponsibilitiesPlan, deliver and assess student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met.Develop and update course materials.Use a variety of teaching methods and materials.Participate in staff development, peer observation and meetings.Stay updated on industry developments and student support practices.Work toward clear objectives for student attendance, completion and progression.QualificationsMaster’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.Extensive knowledge of the subject matter.Experience supervising student work and providing feedback.Ability to maintain accurate student records.Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines.Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.DesirablePostgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol in a teaching programme within probation).Experience designing and developing academic or professional education programmes.Equal Opportunity: The University and GBS are committed to equality.
