OverviewJob Title: Residential Children's Home Team LeaderContract: Permanent, Full TimeHours: 40 hours per weekResponsible to: Registered ManagerLocation: Capernwray, CarnforthSalary: Basic salary of £27,803.20 with a potential to earn up to £34,523.20 with sleep in shifts.We are looking for dynamic and inspirational Residential Team Leader to join our established Residential Team at Bayview. You will work in one of our family‑style children’s homes in Capernwray, Carnforth, with a maximum of four young people per home.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the leadership and management of the day‑to‑day operations of the Home to progressively improve the lives of the young residents.Depute for the Registered Manager when not physically present at the Home.Support in providing a safe, secure, homely and positive environment for children and young people aged 8‑18 with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.Help ensure homes are rated at least ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and contribute to continuous improvement of quality, image and reputation.Hold a full UK driving license.Manage rota, sleeping duties and on‑call arrangements and communicate concerns appropriately.QualificationsDiploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.Full UK driving license.BenefitsCompetitive salary plus up to £6,720 in sleep‑in payments (average of 6–8 sleep ins per month at £70 per sleep in).Regular SupervisionsCompany pensionAccess to Exchange Employee Discount SchemeWellbeing programmes via Exchange ProvisionComprehensive training programme, followed by ongoing CPDPromotion opportunitiesAdditional informationBay View is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates.
