About Our Environment Resilience Renewables (ERR) Advisory Group Our Environment Group has been providing environmental solutions for our clients for over 30 years in the UK. We offer a comprehensive range of environmental services to support all sizes and types of development, including high‑profile infrastructure projects such as Dogger Bank Wind Farm, Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone, and Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station. We specialise in consenting, permitting and licensing support for complex infrastructure developments and operations, and we have successfully supported our clients in delivering sustainable projects across energy, industry, marine development, and catchment management. Job Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Senior Environmental Consultant with strong communication skills and technical expertise in terrestrial EIA and onshore infrastructure consenting. Lead and support complex environmental assessment projects including EIAs and the discharge of consent conditions. Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Provide technical input on environmental assessments. Develop and review environmental reports for consenting processes. Engage directly with clients to offer strategic advice and problem‑solving. Represent the company in client offices, regulator meetings, and stakeholder consultations. Ensure compliance with legislation, planning policy, and best practice standards. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering technical excellence. What the Role Requires Demonstrable experience in the delivery of EIAs and the consenting process. Experience in the post‑consent project delivery. Experience working with a variety of stakeholders. Robust project management and financial management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, analytical and time management skills. Good interpersonal skills. Dependable, pro‑active and self‑motivated.
