At eXPD8 we’re looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Evesham (WR11 4XF). You’ll be an integral part of a field‑based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Though based in one area, you will have work opportunities across a variety of different stores. About the role This role will involve a range of categories, including general merchandising – books, gift cards and cosmetics. Confirmed working days/hours Monday 08:00 – 10:00 Wednesday 08:00 – 10:30 Thursday 08:00 – 11:30 Plus ad hoc work as agreed. How you'll deliver excellence Compliance and Standards You’ll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance. You’ll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards. Product Placement and Replenishment You’ll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal. Promotional and Point of Sale Setup You’ll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts and special offers. Strong communication and relationship building You’ll build and maintain good working relationships with in‑store colleagues, particularly department and store managers. You’ll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams via our feedback application, acting as the eyes and ears in the stores. What makes you excellent Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Thriving with ownership of your own work within set time frames, using your initiative to find solutions. Taking pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients. Being comfortable with some manual handling – moving and arranging products from the warehouse to the shop floor. Willingness to accept home deliveries of point‑of‑sale or stock items for some visits (you’ll be paid extra to do so). Confidence using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks. A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
