OverviewSenior Electrical Design Engineer — Stretford. Salary: £45,000 to £55,000. Job Ref: #38260. A successful nationwide MEP consultancy, with a UK-wide presence and an international office, are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a role in Stretford to work on a wide variety of projects across the UK. The focus of your work will be within the Healthcare sector, delivering new builds, refurbishments, and modern methods of construction including modular offsite installations.As part of a planned expansion of the Manchester office, you will join an exciting and dynamic company. They are seeking a driven individual with a genuine passion for MEP Engineering and Building Services design, eager to make a difference to both the organisation and the future of healthcare infrastructure in the UK.ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical systems across all areas of hospitals, including operating theatres, day case centres, reception and office spaces, laboratories, wards, and outpatient areas.Deliver projects within the Healthcare sector, across new builds, refurbishments, and modular offsite installations.Work on projects across the UK, with opportunities to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment and to work independently within an Electrical Engineering team.Apply relevant guidelines and standards (CIBSE, BS7671, HTM) to design and delivery.QualificationsDegree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (BEng or Masters preferred).Relevant sector experience in a similar Senior Electrical Design Engineer role within Building Services.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.Experience in applying CIBSE, BS7671, and HTM guidelines.Applications welcomed from established Senior Engineers or strong Intermediates looking to step into a Senior position.
