Music Tutor – Solihull Music – Guitar, Clarinet, Upper Strings Join Solihull Music as a Music Tutor delivering face‑to‑face, high‑quality lessons across the borough in Solihull education settings. Overview Band D – £32,597 – £37,280 per annum, pro‑rata. Term time only. Part‑time fixed‑term contract until July 2026. Responsibilities Teach beginner and experienced players in schools, evenings and extra‑curricular groups. Deliver lessons in Guitar, Clarinet or Upper Strings, in 1:1 and small‑group formats. Participate in whole‑class, ensembles or SEND opportunities to develop skills. Support students to reach their full musical potential and inspire through performance. Attend CPD sessions and contribute to music curriculum development. Qualifications Experience teaching Guitar, Clarinet or Upper Strings. A Level Music, Grade 8 or equivalent, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge and skill. Experience working with small groups and 1:1 tutoring in a school environment. Ability to perform on at least one principal instrument at a high standard. Motivational and inspirational through personal musical ability.
