We are looking for a Clinical Leader for our hospital to help us build a healthier nation. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body and have the relevant qualifications and post‑registration experience in surgery/anaesthetics, including as a Registered Nurse or HCPC‑registered Operating Department Practitioner. With strong clinical leadership you will guide your team with a shared vision promoting innovation and sustainability. Good communication, organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential, as is knowledge of running a smooth and effective department. As our Clinical Leader, you will: Conduct and organise the Clinical/Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre, including the smooth running of the theatre lists and organising booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres. Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department, which include Endoscopy, General, Orthopaedics and Gynae. Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department, including safety and risk management, quality improvement and the enhancement of patient care and service delivery. Have extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment.
