Cost Engineers - Hospital Construction Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company that delivers outcomes improving people’s lives through real‑estate, infrastructure, energy and natural‑resource projects. As an experienced Cost Engineering professional, you will work on a hospital construction programme amongst others. You will establish the required processes, templates and tools, agree the baseline for cost and schedule, and monitor performance against it while incorporating the impacts of risk, opportunities and change in a controlled manner. Responsibilities Development of project cost control data structures to accurately track and control actual costs Establishing and setting the project control budget aligned with agreed baselines Tracking of actual costs for both internal and external expenditure against the cost control structures Tracking and controlling project accruals and commitments against set budget constraints Building project forecast to include estimate to complete (ETC) and the development of the estimate at completion (EAC) Accurate and timely reporting of all cost‑related project information Working with the planning function to accurately apply Earned Value Management rules Tracking project contingency and exposure associated with risk events and remaining risks on the project Tracking project change control to ensure alignment with agreed baselines and control data structures Tracking key project trends and actioning as appropriate Qualifications Proven experience in project controls coordination in all phases of the project lifecycle, including large programmes such as rail and highways Experience across the full project lifecycle: pre‑investment, design development, execution and commissioning Experience working to cost engineering procedures and able to define project cost procedures and standards Highly conversant with cost management systems such as Ecosys, including interface with corporate ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle Turner & Townsend is an equal‑opportunity employer.
