One-to-One SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary | Full Time 🌟 Are you a compassionate, resilient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference? Aspire People are seeking a confident 1:1 SEN TA to support a primary-aged pupil with complex needs within one of our specialist client schools. This is a full-time role, perfect for someone who thrives in a supportive environment and is passionate about helping children achieve their potential. About the Role You will work on a one-to-one basis with a pupil who requires tailored support due to a range of complex needs. The school is looking for someone who is: Confident supporting complex learning, communication, and behavioural needs Skilled in building positive, trusting relationships Adaptable, patient, and calm under pressure Comfortable supporting pupils with challenging behaviours Able to work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider SEN team Responsibilities Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day Implement individualised strategies to encourage engagement and learning Use de-escalation and regulation techniques when required Support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals What We're Looking For Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, or complex needs) Strong resilience, empathy, and relationship-building skills Ability to remain calm and adaptable in dynamic situations A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Why Work With Aspire People?
