We are a Real Living Wage employer and we care about our people.Your role will include providing person centred care and support to our residents including personal care and assistance at meal times.Additionally to Night Care Assistant duties your role will include:supporting and assisting Deputy and Home Manager by providing leadership to the care teamacting as the senior person on duty at night in the absence of the Deputy Manager and informing the Home Manager of any problems or concerns in relation to the Homeacting as a role model and setting the standard for staff of person-centred careproviding support to night care staff and act as a champion for residents' safety and dignitydelegating tasks fairly to all the team members and assisting them to complete in a timely manneracting within the care team and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures, to supervise, support and assist in the induction and training of the care staffCandidate Requirementsexperience of providing support to people in a caring environment and understand the needs of older peopleminimun two years' experience in care sectorexperience of writing, reviewing and recording of care plansNVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care or equivalent or an agreement to undertake relevantability to motivate and inspire confidence and enthusiasm in residents and staffability to provide coaching & guidance to care staffability to lead and superviseability to prioritise own workload and the workload of other staffknowledge of care legislation and guidanceHours of work are: full or part-time hours available, shifts are 8pm - 8amIn return, youll get a competitive salary, access to other benefits and bonus schemes.
