Risk Business Partner – Technology, Data & AI Join AXA UK as a Risk Business Partner and support the completion of operations risk and control monitoring across our technology and data functions. You will work with the Head of Risk Partnership to ensure business activities comply with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and minimise operational risk events. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements. Responsibilities Providing advice and challenge to technology and data teams on risk mitigation, control coverage and effectiveness Completing operational risk monitoring and reporting to a high standard and in compliance with internal guidance and procedures Supporting the technology and data teams with risk remediation action plan definition and oversight Risk incident reporting and thematic analysis and oversight Supporting the Head of Risk in the delivery and continued development of the risk profile Developing strong working relationships with risk champions and raising awareness for potential operational risk issues Qualifications Demonstrable experience working in a risk function Thorough knowledge of overall risks faced by financial services with a particular emphasis on Technology, Data and AI Strong stakeholder management skills Pragmatic outlook with the ability to work at pace with strong delivery focus Excellent report writing, organisation, analytical and influencing skills General knowledge of industry frameworks, e.g. ITIL, Agile, DevOps (desirable) Eligibility and authorisation to work in the United Kingdom Benefits Competitive annual salary dependent on experience Annual company & performance-based bonus Contributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contributions) Life Assurance (up to 10 × annual salary) Private medical cover 28 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Opportunity to buy or sell up to 5 extra days leave Wellbeing services & resources AXA employee discounts We’re a proud Equal Opportunities Employer and do not discriminate against employees or potential employees based on protected characteristics.
