Nursery Nurse/Room Leader – Toad Hall Nursery Group Toad Hall Nursery Group is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Nurse/Room Leader to be based at our 72‑place nursery in Winnersh Triangle, RG41 5RB. The day nursery boasts excellent transport links, a convenient car park for staff and families, and several local cafés within walking distance. £1,000 new starter bonus Candidates who apply by Friday 31 October 2025 and are successful in their interview will receive £1,000. This applies to the Level 3 Nursery Nurse positions (Level 3 or above, full time). Salary – Nursery Nurse: up to £29,536 per annum. Room Leader: from £29,640 per annum. Key Responsibilities Working together with the rest of the team to provide high‑quality care for children aged 0‑5. Ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the nursery by adhering to the relevant policies and procedures. Using your knowledge, experience and imagination to come up with new ideas and activities. Building relationships with children and communicating well with their parents. Making sure every working day is fun Qualifications and Experience Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities. To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery‑aged children. Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
