Deputy Head of Planned/Unplanned Services Job Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional and highly experienced candidate to support the operational management of our inpatient unit and newly refurbished HBPoS, which will be operational in January 2026. The role covers responsibility for three acute mental health inpatient wards, one male PICU ward and the HBPoS, as well as deputising and providing cover for the Head of Acute Services in H&F. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and implementation of transformation initiatives and embedding new practices. Main Duties The post holder will be a key member of the senior management team and will: Work closely with the Head of Acute Services, Associate Director and Clinical Director to continuously improve services. Manage Adult Inpatient Services and provide operational management and professional nursing leadership. Be accountable for overall standards of nursing practice, aiming to improve the experience and outcomes for service users. Provide visible professional leadership and advice to nursing staff at all levels, ensuring Trust corporate and nursing objectives are met.
