Job Title Matchday Spectator Safety Steward Job Introduction Matchday Steward – Carlisle Support Services, working in partnership with Burnley Football Club. Please note: you must already hold or be enrolled onto Level 2/3 Spectator Safety Qualification (certificate or learner number). If you hold an SIA licence, do not apply for this role. Full training provided; grow your career. Location Turf Moor – Home of Burnley FC (BB10 4BX). Opportunities to work across Leeds, Manchester and Huddersfield venues. Pay £12.70 per hour Hours Casual basis on match/event days. Flexibility to choose shifts for home games or ad‑hoc events at the stadium. Football and events take place evenings and weekends only. Core Responsibilities Scan tickets Direct spectators Monitor crowds Manage queues Qualifications & Requirements Level 2 certificate in Spectator Safety – complete or enrolled Reliable, punctual, flexible, smart appearance Friendly, approachable, professional Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job Experience in events or customer care (ideal) Willing to work at other Carlisle event venues across the region (desirable) Provide original documentation for screening (passport, driving licence, utility bill, HMRC letter, bank statement, payslip, birth certificate, or valid share code) About Us Carlisle Support Services delivers events, security, cleaning and retail facilities support services across the UK’s most renowned sites and critical infrastructure.
