At Places for People, you’re more than just a number – you’re part of our cause.More About Your RoleAs a maintenance technician you will carry out general day‑to‑day maintenance at the leisure centre, plan and implement work schedules, and, where needed, contact contractors. You will monitor current contractors and ensure timely completion of tests and inspections to comply with regulations. You will deliver a high level of service, comfort, and safety for centre users. Together with the technical team, you will ensure all equipment and facilities are fully functioning and you will supply maintenance reports and updates to the Contract Technical Manager regularly.More About YouThe successful applicant will have experience in a maintenance role, ideally with a trade qualification. You must be aware of health and safety, especially in public spaces, and ideally hold a Pool Plant Operator’s Certificate. Excellent communication skills are required, as you will liaise with external contractors.
