Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - Electrical Engineer Bias Join to apply for the Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - Electrical Engineer Bias role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. We are seeking a reliable and safety‑conscious Electrical Maintenance Shift Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across various sites. The role involves working independently and collaborating to deliver planned and remedial works on time while strictly adhering to health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Complete electrical maintenance of critical assets such as standby generators and UPS systems Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs, and updates to maintenance work orders Use appropriate test equipment and tools, understanding their limitations Follow lockout/tagout procedures—no live working permitted Keep high standards of housekeeping and attend toolbox talks Perform AP duties Requirements Qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations NVQ level 3 electrical Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, and controls Ability to read and follow technical drawings and procedures Self‑motivated, well‑organised, and eager to learn Respectful, professional, and confident in raising safety concerns Benefits Mitie offers a range of flexible and support services including a virtual GP, salary finance schemes, enhanced pension contributions, cycle‑to‑work schemes, and life cover up to four times your salary.
