The Treasury Operations team is a key contributor to these objectives as we drive to increase automation and streamline processes in cash management, back office and treasury accounting, as well as providing world‑class systems infrastructure to the Group Treasury function. Job Description We are seeking a Specialist, Treasury Operations to be responsible for the design, implementation, management and optimisation of processes and controls across treasury settlements, confirmations, regulatory reporting, and bank guarantee management and reporting. This role will be based in our London Head Office, where we operate a hybrid working policy of 3 days a week in the office. This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Key role requirements Works with Group Treasury and Global Shared Services colleagues to develop and manage the Group’s operational bank relationships. Manages the Group’s transactional banking relationships, with responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of transactional banking structures and solutions for all businesses under their responsibility. Responsible for engaging and partnering with the Group’s transactional banking providers on the design, implementation and optimisation of automated liquidity structures that reflect the group’s intercompany funding structures and regulatory and statutory requirements in all relevant jurisdictions. Provides input to the Treasury Operations strategic plan for an ongoing “analyse and improve” programme. Provides close support to the Global Process and Control Owners (“GPCOs”), covering the following process areas: Treasury Settlements, Confirmations, Static Data, Regulatory Reporting, Bank Fee Control. Provides business finance leadership with regular reporting on process performance targets and measures across effectiveness (quality, compliance), efficiency (cost) and sustainability. Develops and maintains professional relationships with banks, system vendors, outsourced service providers. Monitor performance against relevant Service Level Agreements (SLA) with businesses to ensure we are achieving agreed service delivery requirements. Responsible for delivering continuous improvement of “best in class” treasury operations processes in collaboration with the Treasury Operations Manager and Treasury Manager. Ensures that all relevant processes have robust Business Continuity Plans defined, implemented and regularly tested. Qualifications Required: Graduate or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably commercial, numerical or scientific. Preferred: A recognised Treasury Management or Cash Management qualification would be an advantage, but not essential. Technical skills / knowledge requirements 10+ years’ experience of relevant roles within Treasury operations. Experience within a company which operates internationally. Operational experience in a financial department with significant systems exposure. Development and management of banking relationships. Experienced with Treasury Management Systems and / or treasury Work Systems. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with close attention to detail.
