Global HSE Director - Data Centre Solutions - London CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) invites applications for the Global Sr. HSE Director – Data Centre Solutions position in London. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop, implement, manage and review the QHSE strategy, management system, plan and objectives in line with the Group QHSE strategy and the business plan. Forecast and plan policy and resource requirements. Serve as the focal point for specialist strategic QHSE expertise. Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team, supply partners and clients. Manage QHSE resource requirements. Lead dialogue to ensure specialist QHSE resource requirements are established. Develop and maintain the QHSE training strategy. Ensure standards of QHSE competence are achieved and maintained. Lead initiatives and best‑practice activities, promoting the behaviours and values of the business. Support new business through solutions development, presentations, bid and contract review, and mobilisation support. Establish QHSE champions throughout the business, where required. Develop objectives to promote and improve QHSE management. Direct and manage the QHSE team to deliver the overarching programme. Implement an assurance programme to maintain compliance with business and Group policy. Oversee strategic QHSE performance management. Compile performance reports and monitor metrics to drive improvement. Foster a learning organisation and business competitiveness. Communicate through leadership, advice, reviews, meetings, briefings, correspondence and publications. Education and Experience BA/BS degree required; MA/MS preferred. 12+ years related industry experience. 5 years directing large‑scale, multi‑discipline projects in a corporate environment. 7 years managing people, budgets, and project teams. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills. Experience in client‑facing and large group presentations. Certifications and Licences HSE certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM or equivalent EHS certifications desirable. Lead auditor certifications for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 desirable. Other Skills and Abilities Strong leadership and facilitation skills. Exceptional presentation skills. Excellent project management experience. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Project and Office suite. Clear understanding of HSE Management Systems—leadership commitment, accountability, communication, auditing and performance metrics.
