Our Medicines Information Service provides advice on all aspects of medicines use, and aims to support the safe and efficient use of medicines. Our service receives and manages enquiries from a range of enquirers including, but not limited to, healthcare professionals throughout the Trust, healthcare professionals from around the country, and parents/carers of our patients. The role also includes a clinical commitment, with ward commitment to support the clinical specialties at GOSH, and support of Drug and Therapeutic committee (DTC) submissions. You will work with inspirational colleagues across Pharmacy and clinical directorates to deliver high quality medicines advice. Main duties of the job You will have the responsibility to lead and manage the medicines enquiry answering service. Answers provided will be formulated using robust search strategies, underpinned by evidence-based resources where possible, and effectively appraised literature. You will be an integral part of the wider Medicines Governance Team, and therefore, have: Superb communication and interpersonal skills An analytical approach to literature searching and evaluation Excellent time management and organisational skills An exceptional attitude to team working You will have experience in provision of a Medicines Information Service and some paediatric experience is desirable, but not essential.
