A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Residential Conveyancing team as a Conveyancing Executive.Department: Residential ConveyancingLocation: Derby, UKWe have one of the largest residential conveyancing teams in the Midlands and are renowned for our excellent customer care and for always putting our clients’ needs at the heart of our advice.We are currently on a recruitment drive across the firm in response to significant organic growth together with several major client wins.We pride ourselves in delivering excellent client-focused services, with high retention rates of both clients and staff remised on sound financial stability.This new role would be ideal for someone looking to develop their Residential Conveyancing career further with a varied and interesting workload, flexibility, and freedom in a supportive and friendly environment.Reporting to the Head of Residential Conveyancing.Key ResponsibilitiesRunning your own case load consisting of buying, selling and re-mortgaging residential propertiesMeeting clients and taking detailed instructionsGiving basic, clear advice on all aspects of conveyancingMaintaining client confidentiality at all timesOpening and maintaining files in accordance with office proceduresConfirming instructions and advice to clients in writingConducting negotiations with other partiesManaging your case load to ensure that cases are progressed, closed and billed as appropriateReferring matters to other senior members of the team as appropriateUndertaking training and developingEnsuring that all time spent is recordedEnsuring adherence to GDPR regulations at all timesAny other tasks as required by the Head of Residential ConveyancingSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseYou will:Have at least 1-3 years’ experience in a Conveyancing roleHave exceptional client service skills, going above and beyond client expectationsEnjoy working in a team and thrive in a busy environmentHave great personal organisation skillsBe computer and IT literateDisclosure will be required in the event that a position is offered.BenefitsWhat we offer?Competitive salaryBonus potentialGreat working environment at our Derby Head officesCareer Development opportunities25 days holiday plus bank holidaysOptions to buy & sell 1 week’s holiday1 week’s holiday carry overExtra day off for your birthdayStaff card discount scheme for local shopsSocial days and evenings on the firmMonthly food on the firm for all staffStaff discounts on legal services #J-18808-Ljbffr
