The Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will have the following duties:

  1. Support project management in defining the necessary test equipment and gauging to satisfy the quality requirements.
  2. Support design reviews and prototype builds.
  3. Lead the team in preparation of control plans and support PFMEA reviews.
  4. Take responsibility for recording, progressing, responding and closing of customer concerns utilizing 8D and other problem-solving techniques.
  5. Support the supplier APQP and supplier development improvement.
  6. Support launch as appropriate through PPIR reports, interim PSW, and alerts.

The Person

Educated to HNC, HND or Degree level in a manufacturing discipline, you will have the following experience:

  1. Proven experience in quality engineering in a 1st tier automotive environment.
  2. Experience in quality best practice such as APQP and PPAP.
  3. Experience in project-based quality is desirable.
