Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Energy from Waste company to recruit an EC&I Technician for its site in Milton Keynes. The EC&I Technician role comes with a starting salary of up to £48,000 to £54,000 + benefits package. Responsibilities and duties Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for: Fault finding, installing and maintaining electrical systems, instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow and level) and control systems. Calibrations and loop checking of instruments relating to the sites DCS/control systems. Maintaining the continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) Assist in the development of plant modification and improvement work. Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the site CMMS Supervising and directing on site contractors when required Ensuring strict HSE compliance at all times. Professional qualifications Certificate in Safety Instrumented Systems Recognised EC&I Apprenticeship Scheme ONC/HNC in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering or equivalent Personal skills Ability to work well alone or in a team Is results focused and can deliver accurate results on time.
