Location: Tavistock Contract: Full Time, Permanent (term‑time plus contract working 48 weeks) Salary: £13.55 per hour Hours: 40 per week, 5 out of 7 days, working every other weekend. No late nights or split shifts. Additional benefit: free on‑site parking. About the school: An independent, co‑educational boarding school in Tavistock, Devon for children aged 3‑18. Catering for 700 students and teachers across two locations. Key Responsibilities Provide breakfast, lunch & hospitality as part of a team. Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company’s brand standards. Ensure company food standards are adhered to and waste is controlled. Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures. Experience of pot‑wash duties is an advantage. Exhibit excellent customer‑service skills. Be a great team player. Knowledge / Competencies Understand and use verbal English reasonably well. Write and read English at a reasonable standard.
