Job Title Cover Manager Location St Marys Catholic College Reporting To SLT Cover Lead Salary Grade Band G SCP (27822 - 30729 Actual) Contract This is a full-time 2 year fixed contract 36 hours per week 39 weeks per year (term time only plus INSET days). Start Date As soon as possible. Closing Date 26th September 2025 at 12:00pm Interviews Week commencing 29th September 2025 Responsibilities The key responsibilities of this role include coordinating and allocating daily cover arrangements for planned and unplanned staff absence. This involves a 7.15am start each day. Line management of the Cover Supervisor and Supply Teacher team. Supervision of whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. The primary focus of the role will be to maintain good order and to keep students on task ensuring they progress through the planned curriculum.
