HGV Class 2 Driver – Flour Deliveries | Ad-Hoc Shifts 📍 Location : North Edinburgh 🕕 Start Time : 6 : 00 AM 💪 Role : Physically Active – Manual Handling Required Driver Hire Edinburgh City is seeking a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver to support a well-established flour distribution company, delivering to bakeries and wholesale customers throughout Edinburgh and nearby areas. This flexible, ad-hoc role is ideal for experienced drivers who want variety, regular local routes, and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts across other Driver Hire assignments. 💰 Pay Rates : Including Advanced Holiday Pay : £15.69 / hr (basic) £20.91 / hr (overtime) With Holiday Pay Accrued Separately : £14.00 / hr (basic) £18.66 / hr (overtime) 🚚 Key Responsibilities : Deliver flour and baking goods to local bakeries and wholesale customers Work with a driver’s mate to support with manual lifting and handling Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery paperwork Provide excellent customer service on every delivery Follow all road safety rules and company procedures ✅ Requirements : Full HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence (held for at least 12 months) Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card Physically fit and comfortable with hands‑on work Reliable, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards 🌟 Why Work with Driver Hire?
