This is a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to play a vital role in the Accounting & Finance department within the life science industry. Based in Swansea, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making. Client Details The employer is a small-sized organisation within the life science industry, known for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. Description Prepare and present monthly management accounts including variance analysis and performance reports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Conducting cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimisation. Oversee reconciliations and manage the month-end process. Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency Stock analysis Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance. (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Proven expertise in preparing management accounts and financial analysis. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills. Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Job Offer Competitive salary of approximately £45,0000 to £50,000 per annum.
