Are you motivated by supporting and helping others? We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support children with moderate learning difficulties, and associated behaviours. No previous experience is required. Interviews are now taking place. The School : Aspiring Psychologist This school is located in Farnham and is for up to 150 children aged 4-19, who require the support of a specialised curriculum to enable them to thrive and reach their full potential. This school has a Therapy Department, consisting of Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists, ideal for an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist. This Aspiring Psychologist role is an excellent opportunity to work closely and network with other teams of professionals, gaining relevant experience, expanding your knowledge and skillset. This role will give you essential experience within a challenging yet rewarding setting – career progression routes include SEN Teacher, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist and various Child Psychology routes. Job Role and Responsibilities : Aspiring Psychologist - Farnham - Education and Training Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students Behaviour and pastoral support Ability to build robust and effective relationships with students Practical approach to meet the individual needs of students Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Caring, compassionate, and a good listener Willing to work 1 : 1 and in small groups with students Ensure safeguarding of students Attend staff meetings and complete appropriate CPD Start date ASAP, trial days taking place to ensure the role and school is right for you Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students £85-£90 per day, Mon-Fri, 08 : 30 to 15 : 30, PAYE, term time only No previous experience is required If you have a Psychology / Criminology / Social Science degree, it’s an excellent use of your degree You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship Apply now for Aspiring Psychologist - Farnham - Education and Training or contact Georgina Sutton at Academics Ltd : 01483 362 823 Candidates registering with Academics Ltd will need to have or apply for an Enhanced DBS and / or overseas police check where appropriate #J-18808-Ljbffr
