Job Title: Programme Manager Location: Remote working in the UK Contract: Full time- Secondment until Aug 2026 (With a possibility to extend) Department: North Work Experience Team Reporting to: Head of Projects and North Salary: £41,000 per annum Closing Date: Sunday 16th November- Midnight Interviews: We will be interviewing on a rolling basis Role Summary The Programme Manager’s focus for this year will be to oversee and be responsible for the success of the CWEX and Youth Engagement programme, leading one or two Delivery Account Leads to drive the CWEX programme forward. You will be innovative and have an ambitious, problem solving approach to the CWEX programme. You will lead on the recruitment and maintenance relationships with the CWEX schools, be responsible for the planning and design of the programme, oversee the CWEX budget, identify and onboarding a new CWEX lead employer and maintaining the relationship, work with the lead employer to design content and identify support employers that offer shorter sessions, lead on the successful delivery of the CWEX through the DALs and with the impact team, lead on the reporting of the project and evaluation, lead on the future design of the programme. This role will also continue the management and development of the youth council, working with the Associate Director Programmes and Delivery to build on the youth engagement strategy for youth voice to be considered across the organisation. It will ensure that young people engaged in the youth council are supported in their personal development whilst in post, and that activities are safeguarded and accessible. You manage your existing capacity with your line manger. Key Duties / Responsibilities Strategic Purpose Responsible for the end-to-end delivery and advocation of allocated Programme/s from initial programme designs, scoping partners/employers to securing commitments, locating and committing partner schools, monitoring young person reach and/or recruitment, budget management and operational delivery. Programme leadership, planning opportunities with teams across the organisation to consult with young people as key stakeholders in the development of existing or new programmes and products Responsible for embedding a high-quality approach to all outcomes within the team and utilizing the FFA programme models informed by best practice. Engagement Stakeholder Recruitment & Management Lead on collateral design, working across teams to engage education and employer stakeholders. Recruit and onboard Delivery Account Leads responsible for programme planning, delivery and facilitation. Depending on programme designs, work with Employers to secure participation from case study employers and manage their involvement. Work with the Employers to recruit industry experts and coordinate their contributions to the programme. Brief industry experts and employer partners to ensure effective delivery. School Engagement & Recruitment Work with Education team to identify, select, and recruit partner schools to participate in the programme. Oversee the coordination with schools to confirm delivery weeks and student participation. Oversee the maintenance of ongoing communication with school representatives to ensure alignment. Programme Planning & Coordination Lead on the core planning in collaboration with the Employers of the work experience programme from end to end. Design and implement an effective student application and selection process. Confirm delivery schedules with all stakeholders and manage programme logistics. Student Recruitment & Support Lead student recruitment efforts in collaboration with schools. Confirm student attendance and assign students to appropriate groups within the programme, working with the teacher that will be present on the project week. Ensure that the promotion of opportunities, along with recruitment and selection of young people to engage with us directly is inclusive and accessible and that there is representation across the target audience. Create opportunities for young people, supporting personal development, and ensuring that their voluntary role maintains a mutually beneficial balance Support the creation of other youth engagement opportunities outside the youth council as part of wider youth engagement strategy. Support young people at events, both in person and online where they are participating or attending Delivery Venue & Resource Management Secure suitable venues and ensure all logistical needs are met for delivery. Locate and manage necessary equipment, including laptops, stationery, and awards. Ensure students and staff have access to relevant AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT accounts). Curriculum & Content Preparation Adapt and tailor existing curriculums and materials to meet programme goals. Collaborate with industry professionals to ensure content is relevant and engaging. Ensure our Quality Assurance benchmarks are embedded throughout the programme. Programme Delivery Oversee and support the delivery of the entire programme. Oversee the programme budget to ensure costs and spend is accurately tracked and effectively used to deliver the programme. Ensure smooth day-to-day execution and troubleshoot any arising issues. Evaluation & Reporting Work with the Impact Team to define the evaluation methodology and tools for impact measurement. Collect and work with Impact team to analyse feedback and data from all stakeholders. Work with the Impact to produce comprehensive evaluation reports and recommendations for improvement. Education / Experience / Knowledge Essential Programme management skills with the ability to oversee multiple agendas with detail and rigour Budgeting skills with the ability to manage costs and spend to deliver the project Confident in working with people and facilitating development conversations Experience in a similar environment working with a variety of stakeholders Clear and concise communicator, capable of producing written content to a professional quality Confident liaising with and managing relationships particularly with stakeholders from all levels Comfort and experience in working with technology and data management Sociable and confident and able to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders Excels at organising their workload and enjoy driving work forward independently Has a growth mindset, able to challenge and provide innovative solution Experience working with young people and an ability to clearly communicate with and enthuse 11-19-year-olds to ensure they are getting the most out of our programmes Experienced in developing activities and learning modules for young people Desirable Experience of line motivating a team and working collaboratively Experience working / creating networks in the South of the UK Experience of account management Previous experience working with HR/Recruitment/CSR/Engagement teams an advantage An understanding of the UK Education System and a familiarity with careers provision within UK schools and colleges would be an advantage Proficient use of the Salesforce CRM, to track relationships and ensure proper data management Interpreting and using data in Excel and PowerBi Experience safeguarding young people Experience hosting events for young people, online and in person #J-18808-Ljbffr
