We directly deliver Mental Health, Physical Health, Pharmacy and Clinical Substance Misuse in an integrated healthcare delivery model to provide effective and responsive care to improve wellbeing and support better outcomes in the future.Important Sponsorship Information for this post: We are currently unable to offer a certificate of sponsorship for this post.ResponsibilitiesAs a Nursing Associate you will be responsible for contributing towards the health and wellbeing of patients within the prison setting. You will deliver high quality, personalised, safe, compassionate care in the best interest of people.Using your knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours gained within fields of nursing, you will be responsible for providing holistic care and support for people of all ages within the setting.You will be working independently, under the leadership of a registered nurse, within the sphere of nursing. You will be required to recognise and work within the limits of your competence, and work to the nationally recognised NMC code of conduct.Key dutiesTo work as directed by a registered nurse.To provide care physical care to patients in accordance with their care plan.To support the delivery of national screening programmes.To support and deliver clinics as instructed within the establishment’s clinic timetable.About Oxleas and our servicesOxleas offers a wide range of NHS healthcare services to people in community and secure environment settings.
