OverviewThis is a key opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join an established multidisciplinary building services team on the South Coast. You will play a leading role in delivering technically robust electrical engineering solutions across commercial, residential and mission-critical sectors. The Bournemouth office benefits from long-standing regional relationships and a strong project pipeline, offering a stable platform for technical leadership and career progression.ResponsibilitiesLead the technical delivery of electrical engineering design on complex, multidisciplinary projectsDevelop early-stage strategies, technical concepts and feasibility assessmentsCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated engineering solutionsAttend and lead client meetings, workshops and design reviewsOversee workload planning, fee awareness and resource allocation in collaboration with senior managementProvide technical guidance, peer reviews and quality assurance across project outputsMentor apprentices, graduates and developing engineers, supporting both technical and commercial growthWhat You NeedStrong track record delivering electrical building services across varied and complex projectsProficiency with modern digital delivery tools (Revit, BIM, Dialux, Relux, Electrical OM)Experience working closely with clients, design partners, contractors and project managersAbility to lead design teams, manage technical delivery and support project commercial performanceClear communication skills, with confidence in client-facing environmentsCommitment to collaborative working and high-quality engineering outcomesSalary and BenefitsSalary range: £43,500 – £56,500 + £4,560 Travel Allowance + bens #J-18808-Ljbffr
