As a data analyst, you will play a key role in unlocking the power of data across the organisation,with an initial focus on supporting the fundraising team.Working closely with stakeholders you will work to incorporate data from multiple data sourcesto deliver clear, actionable insights and automated reporting to identify trends, measureperformance, and interpret key metrics with the ultimate aim of facilitating informed decision-making.Role type: Full time, part time considered. Permanent.Location: Remote with occassional travel to our Nottingham Head OfficeWork with stakeholders to identify the main sources of information both within the organisation and via third party tools.Assist staff in identifying pertinent metrics, KPIs and data measuresDesign and maintain dashboards and reports to track campaign effectiveness, donor behaviour, retention, and income trends across individual a range of giving.Identify opportunities, risks, and areas for optimisation using predictive analysis and segmentation techniques.Work across multiple systems and data sources (e.g. CRM, digital platforms, financial account systems, filed systems) to collate and analyse complex data.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports.Translate complex data findings into accessible and actionable insights for nontechnical stakeholders.Work closely with technical and development stakeholders to ensure data is collected at every stage.Stay up-to-date with data analytics tools, technologies, and best practices relevant to the non-profit and fundraising sectors.Current eligibility to work within the United KingdomA valid Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) certificate (issued within the last year); OR Undertake to provide full cooperation for Muslim Hands to perform a DBS Check at the required level appropriate for the role.Proven experience as a business or data analystA strong background in statistical and analytics methodologiesStrong proficiency with data analysis toolsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsOrganised and detail-orientedComfortable working with both technical and non-technical teamsAnalytical mindset with an interest in problem-solvingDegree level qualification in a related subject highly preferredAbout Muslim HandsMuslim Hands is a UK based international relief organisation working in over 40 countries worldwide.
