Infrastructure Engineer Location: London, England, United Kingdom Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Information Technology Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Job Description We’re looking for 2 experienced Infrastructure Engineers to join a forward‑thinking organization that values innovation, sustainability, and employee wellbeing. One will be on‑prem focused while the other will be Cloud Azure based. What You’ll Do Design, build, and manage on‑premise servers (Windows), virtualization (Hyper‑V), and cloud infrastructure (Azure). Ensure scalability, reliability, and security across all systems. Monitor and maintain infrastructure performance, including patching and updates. Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards. Lead infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. Maintain accurate technical documentation and report on performance and improvements. Provide out‑of‑hours support on a rota and travel to various UK locations as needed. What We’re Looking For Strong experience with Windows Server (2012‑2019), AD, DNS, DHCP, Failover Manager. Hands‑on expertise in virtualization (Hyper‑V), backup solutions (Veeam), and Azure management. Solid networking knowledge (Firewalls, VLAN, CIDR, VRRP, etc.). Experience with disaster recovery implementation and testing. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
