OverviewWe are thrilled to announce a major contract win supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyondWe are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Administrator to join our team delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across Area Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their objectives.Working Hours & LocationLocation : DerbyHours of work 40 hours per weekSalary : Up to 35000ResponsibilitiesWorking alongside the Senior Commercial Analysts (QS) Ensuring proper contractual administration of contract / project assigned including value and cost control and maintenance of contemporaneous recordsAccurately value works undertaken and where necessary provide records to substantiate cost to allow prompt issue of application for payment / invoice in line with contractual timescalesEnsure change control process is managed effectively including production of early warnings / variations maximising entitlementPreparation of financial statements in respect to projects / contracts assigned working with operational teams to confirm understanding of financial position proactively instilling commercial awareness throughout the wider business.Accepts extra duties as situations arise.Experience and qualifications required for the roleAbility to work in a fast paced environment where attention to detail is crucialExcellent communication skillsAble to work in a teamAdvanced Excel skills essentialPrevious experience and knowledge of utilitiesWe are looking for a candidate who is looking to enhance their career within a Commercial environment. The role would be suited to a candidate who has strong advanced Excel skills and comes with a Financial background.
