Job Title: Claims Handler

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per year (depending on experience)

Working Hours: Hybrid after probation

I am searching for a Claims Handler as my client is looking for a candidate with a background working in Motor Claims, who understands the full process as well as FCA guidelines, TCF etc. throughout the full claims cycle. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and background in motor claims who is looking to transition into a role within Quality Assurance.

Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Advisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of our services, while maintaining our commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes. You'll work closely with our Team Leaders to develop and implement quality control measures, monitor customer journeys, and ensure all policies, procedures, and regulations (including Consumer Duty and Treating Customers Fairly) are followed.

This role provides a great balance of structured tasks and the opportunity to introduce innovative solutions, driving improvement within the team and the company's processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, develop, and execute a complete QA plan.
  2. Monitor communication and customer journeys to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and FCA regulations.
  3. Assist in creating and developing monitoring forms.
  4. Record results for individuals and teams.
  5. Prepare monthly reports to present findings from reviews to managers.
  6. Identify opportunities for process improvements based on quality checks.
  7. Recognise potential training needs and assist with development planning.
  8. Ensure compliance with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Consumer Duty regulations.
  9. Conduct ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
  10. Provide feedback and coaching sessions following completed audits.
  11. Assist in the continual monitoring, auditing, and reviewing of internal processes.

  5. In-depth knowledge of claims processes.
