Crisis & Therapeutic Home Treatment Team – CAMHS Specialty Doctor (Psychiatry) NHS Medical & Dental: Consultant About the Role You will be a full‑time Specialty Doctor working within the Southend, Essex, and Thurrock (SET) CAMHS Crisis and Therapeutic Home Treatment Team (CTHT) based at Stapleford House, 103 Stapleford Close, Chelmsford, CM2 0QX. This is a replacement, substantive, full‑time post – 10 PAs with 8 DCC and 2 SPA. You will join a multidisciplinary team of nurses and therapists with support from local Consultants across six different teams and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of care in your area. Responsibilities Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs across Southend, Essex, and Thurrock (SET). Provide medical support and guidance to the team. Work directly with young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals. Support your peers and team leader, enabling them to work with their own initiative. Work alongside a Consultant in the service. Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies. Selection Criteria Demonstrated alignment with NELFT values.
